1st post of 2009.

Guess who came back to tuptup? It's none other than my baby Nutt! Haven't seen him for a while and i really missed him plenty. Nutt's really cute! He has crow-feet eyes like mine... like paba like son. haha!

Uncle Tommy, Ruggy, Taffy and Kimchi are all very excited that Nutt's back! Especially Uncle Tommy. Dun see dat Uncle Tommy doesn't share his food... he always purposely let Nutt steal his food one heh.

2008 was a fantastic year. It's the year i met taptap. Both recovering from broken relationships, we fell in love and had the most amazing time together. Tuptup's happiest memories came from taptap and for a long time, his life revolved around hers. Sure, they had upsetting moments and worlds were turned topsy-turvy. But hey, what are relationships without ups and downs?

Baby, just come back to tuptup and everything will, as you say, be o.k. Besides, tuptup has been very useful hehe. Who's gonna carry your stuff around as you shop? Bring you water as and when you want? Remember we're the best tennis partners! Who's gonna play badminton and table tennis with you? Who's gonna bring you kai kai the most interesting places in Spore? Who's gonna watch DVDs with you? Who's gonna bring you out once a month to makan nice food? Remember our favourite stalls in Bugis? Who's gonna take pictures with you? Who's gonna have dinner and watch teewee wif you? Who's gonna go cycling, rollerblading wif you? Who's gonna go watch movie, go bowling with you? Who's gonna let you bully him like i do? Who's gonna have all those unglam photos for you to laff at? Remember Sydney kok-ster photo? Who's gonna play bear bear wif you? Who's gonna baking time wif you? Who's gonna cook 'love' dinner for you? Who's gonna make sandwiches for you? Who's gonna go picnicking with you? Who's gonna go go-karting with you? =)


These months, our lives have been so intertwined. Our happy moments are so recent, our feelings are genuine, our happy expressions are real. Hold on to tuptup and i will walk thru the current situation with you. And when feelings fade with time... you still have tuptup at the end of the day.


Last time when Tuptup felt inferior, it was taptap who assured him that their r/ship was different from ours, cannot compare. What about now? Tuptup is tuptup. Comparing is unfair. Tuptup is flawed but is true to taptap and loves taptap with all of his beary heart. Let pictures do the talking. =)

These days, all i have are Tommy, Ruggy, Taffy and Kimchi. But i'm thankful for them cos they're always around during my repentive moods (esp. Ruggy). They're always around when i'm upset or when the nights are cold.

So to Tommy: Thank you for being so adorable when taking pictures with food. You never fail to crack me up.

Ruggy: You're always there to ask me to mian bi si guo. And you always give me sarcastic comments even when i'm down. I know deep down inside you care for me to be a better person and you made me stronger.

Taffy: Thanks for being so gentle and nice. Sometimes when the going gets tough, you offer the kindest words. =)

Kimchi: Always come my house to suntan but haha... you're so 'hot' i can't say no.

The night is darkest before the dawn. Luckily for me, i still have you.

This is a 'love' dinner i prepared for taptap sometime back. Wonder if i'll get another chance in the future. From now on, i'll just try to make taptap happy. Looking forward to seeing taptap n talking to her like old times. Till then, the hours will be like days, and days will be like weeks.

P.S. I miss Hazel and Nutt.

They say that men will never learn. For a long time, Tuptup has been that man.

I offer no excuses or lies to cover up my mistakes. My mistake is i loved myself too much. So much that i've assumed everything to be in my favour, my interest. And then claim that i didn't know, i wasn't aware. i have been trying, and i will change. i cannot promise miracles, nor have i the right to convince anyone.

Let time be the judge. Am i a selfish liar, or a man of my word?

Kena food poisoning this weekend n i reckon it was the miserably catered lunch at TH alumni games on Saturday. Actually din feel much effect until on Sunday when i was out shopping wif taptap. We were gonna attend a gift exchange dinner wif taptap's best frens and of course i couldn't spoil the mood! Plus taptap was in the best of moods dat day so tuptup decided to tong. Tuptup is strong! haha.

It was all well worth the effort cos even when i was feeling queasy n had bad bouts of diarrhoea, i was very touched by taptap's care n concern. Also made me realize the lengths i would go to make taptap happy! taptap no feel bad oki? i'm as fit as fiddle now. =)

kk... taptap is rushing me to go sleepytime liao. i have hazel, nutt and walter tonight!

Taptap's birthday!

HAPPIEEEE BIRTHDAEEEE BABYYYYYYYY!!! Just celebrated my baby taptap's birthday over the weekend n boy was it fun! The month of December is packed wif activities n this is the most beautiful day on the calendar!!!

First day, we went C.O.W (cycle on water) biking at a beautiful, idyllic corner of Singapore where we could see and hear the occasional airplane landing. Really nice n romantic place where there was oni tuptup, taptap, hazel n nutt. Floating out in the open sea wif taptap oni was amazingly sweeeeeeet! Den we had candlelight dinner by the beach at South Changi Restaurant. After dat tuptup was too stoopid to think of an interesting place to entertain taptap so he drove taptap around aimlessly. (stoopid tuptup.) Wished baby at 12 midnight n went home sleepytime.

Next day, woke up flew to taptap's house. We made pancakes, cut cake at taptap's house wif bears n family. Wanted to go southern ridges park connector but rain thwarted our plans. So we went karaoke at party world in orchard for the afternoon! Receptionist thot we were students n gave us discount! =) (must be cos my baby look so young.) Sang a lot, goofed around, took lotsa pics! Den we went to NYDC for 1-for-1 spaghetti dinner! yum yum!

The pursuit of tappyness.

Sunshine is here to stay! Just celebrated taptap n tuptup's 7th month and it was the most fun weekend ever! But dun be fooled by our chummy n happy pics! We've been through a lot these past few weeks to get to where we are. All becos tuptup has been very bad to taptap n make her angry. Tuptup almost lost taptap forever.

I guess Tuptup was too spoilt by all his ex-es last time. Not to mention, he has a way of sounding arrogant, rude, know-it-all, righteous... always cracks jokes at the expense of others etc. Which is really irritating but all his frens are just too polite to bring it up to him.

i remember a moment in my life when i was at my lowest. feel lousy about myself, tinking abt my imperfections, my flaws and all der disappointment. i really lost all zest in life but suddenly taptap popped up in my life! It was like a breath of fresh air! After that, everything was just about her. okok... i noe i haven't the best track record when it comes to keeping relationships but i just noe she's the one. We've had the happiest moments, fugliest moments n 7 months down the road, i still think she's the one. i dun think anything can change my mind. =)

We were supposed to go batam this weekend but we sorta postponed it last min n decided to do other stuff! We watched Bolt (which was uber cute n i mean UBER) n packed sandwiches for a visit to the marina barrage! It's pretty impressive n u should make a visit if u haven't. arrghs i'll just let my pictures do the talking. Enjoy.

Tuptup is down to his last token. After he hits the Continue button he cannot afford to die anymore. Must kill the last king. If not, it's game over n there's nothing left. Once again, tuptup employed his "i think, i thought yaddi yaddi yadda..." but enough is enough. Tuptup hasn't wailed so hard n so long for a long time. eyebrows hurt n head throbs. But even the tears of Little Ten (Ten Brothers) cannot wash away der guilt dat's etched deep. Today, i ran one bus stop's distance. What will it be tmr, and der day after? Lady luck won't always be smiling tuptup. Take nothing for granted.

Tuptup rather low morale lately... tinking about how stoopid he was when looking for job... tinking y he look like lao kok kok beside taptap... tinking y ppl like to tok nonsense... tinking y he passive, no manly enuff, cannot protect taptap. Guess tuptup is perfectionist. So he like to brood abt his inadequacies... all der problems he has no solutions to. So instead of brooding, tuptup do something more productive.

Long time no blog for TUPTUP is me.

This is Tuptup when he was a kid. We dont know why he is droooling. . I dont know, from some angle, he looks disturbingly like Tommy. Tommy is the greedy bear as shown in the pic below.

So u see, he was a saliva kid. HE is still a saliva boy....... I have to agree. So ah-goo-goo cute when he was young. Those cheeks. Feel like pinching them.


As life has it..he turns out...to be... ..as cute...as he looked when he was a kid.

the five languages.

Tuptup just read sumthin off the internet which he found rather interesting. Apparently there are 5 languages of love. "words of affirmation", "quality time", "receiving gifts", "acts of service" and "physical touch". Tuptup found out he like der "quality time" most n dats der language he speaks. but he wonder wat language does taptap speak haha!

Sometimes bears have different love languages. So when taptap n tuptup speak different languages... they dunno wad each other tokkin abt.

There are oso 5 languages of apology. "expressing regret", "accepting responsibility", "making restitution" and "requesting forgiveness". Tuptup hor belong to "expressing regret" which means u say sorry sincerely his heart will melt liao haha! Wonder wat's taptap one.

Sometimes tuptup do stupid things n he thinks he's expressing bear lurve... but nooooo... sometimes he can't be more wrong heh! Like he thinks bear farts are romantic... but taptap hate smelly bear farts! Tuptup still purposely fart in her face haha!

Bear with the fart, cos what matters is the heart, what matters not is the fart, so bear with the fart.
