16th month anniversary (in September)

Hallo, my name is Nuttnutt. Recently my mame is not very happy n always cry... but paba's always busy playing his gunbound n never cheer her up. Hazel's still sleeping. So Nuttnutt went to find some old anniversary pictures (also me n hazel's birthday) that paba n mame take a long time ago so that i can blog n maybe mame read already she'll feel happier. :)

Paba n mame went to play tennis so hair wet wet after they bathe. Paba head look like coconut.

After that paba n mame went Tampines mall food court to eat mame's favourite fish soup. Paba was busy trying to use wifi on his phone to check BC launch.

So mame entertain herself my photo whoring.

Chummy couple shot, the 2 poohies below r not me and hazel btw.

Here we are. The one in blue is me, and the one in pink is my gf hazel. She's not staring at u... it's just the way she looks at pple. :)

Guess what was our birthday gift? (Hint: not the cupcakes)

Next weekend, Paba n mame went to town to snap polaroid pictures! This is St Andrew's Cathedral.

After that they went to eat Thai food at Shaw Towers... see how much paba feeds mame?

And den some home-made icecream in the stall opposite... looks like a hand doing a Victory sign.

A couple of things make mame happy... ice cream...
... and coach bags. :)

Mame and Mr Coconut-head.

See see... some of the polaroid pictures they took.

Heehee this is a small collage Nuttnutt made of Paba n mame checking each other out. :)
Paba said he was gonna do it but he always forgets... does that all the time. Anyways, mame... if u're reading this... cheer up n smile more oki? Nuttnutt like to see mame smile. i like to see hazel smile also. oki? Nuttnutt give u big smile. :D

A smile on my face.

I realize the importance of pictures. Random outings like those below are easily forgotten... out of sight, out of mind. In these busy times, even more so. So these pictures serve as a reminder of the good times and sometimes, the awful times together. Whichever they are, looking back, they always bring a smile to my face.

THIS SECTION IS DEDICATED TO CHEEZE N BERGER

Too fatt.

Cheeze (i think.)

Hazel: Hallo! Nutt: oki... nott too bad.
Nutt: can we go down already?
Hazel: Woooooh!
Hazel is distracted, Nutt's afraid of heights.

Nuttnutt needs to eat something after vomitting.

A special sms on 09.09.09 at 9.09 am

Tuptup's painfully ordinary morning was awoken by the sweetest sms ever from taptap. It read, "... will be together forever"

I realized it's one thing to give sweet msgs to ur loved one... but it's totally another to be on the receiving end. An exceptional feeling to say the least.

I'm not sure i noe wat true happiness really is, but i believe i caught a glimpse of it...

... at 9:09 am this morning.

Simply put.

On the 8th of August at 8:15pm sharp, Taptap poured a cup of water for Tuptup. Tuptup is in complete bliss. Tuptup has everything he wants n needs in life.

What would i do without taptap?

flower n pott

July has been an interesting month! Couple of weeks back was hazel n nutt's birthday on the 7th day of the 7th month n it was their 7th birthday celebration. 777... sounds like an auspicious number. And so i commented to taptap dat this month's gonna be really lucky for us!

Well, the month rolled on to a perfect start as taptap fell down on her way to work n broke a poohie mug tuptup bought for her... in the process her ezlink card mysteriously disappeared as well... Paba n Mame got into a few quarrels here n there... n as if rubbing it in, mame missed her much awaited launch through a culmination of unfortunate events that probably required the sun, moon n earth to allign. (ok i noe there's a solar ecllipse soon but dat's not wat i meant.)

Heh. not-so-lucky month after all. We even brought hazel n nutt in front of the altar to "get rid of evil spirits" n tuptup n taptap bought a new poohie handphone to wash away the bad luck... but to no apparent avail. Anyways it's all superstition n it'll go away very soon. :)

As we reminisced the past year of our relationship, we laffed at the moments when we got upset cos tuptup took a bite at the apple first... tuptup was staring at the zookeeper... tuptup took too long... tuptup made taptap wait at suntec while he bought earphones to "surprise"
her... tuptup forgot this, forgot that... In short, tuptup's not the brightest bear around.

In her very own words, taptap says she's "trying to spice up the relationship" and she has to constantly think of new n creative stuff to get angry with. My, my... wat hard work it must be on my little baby... sometimes tuptup wishes she wouldn't tire herself so much haha! =p So much for being self-professed love gurus... we can't even sort ourselves out... maybe dat's y it's love.

Chuckle. chuckle.

So the question begs... what would i do without taptap?

what rivers do without mountains...

Taptap, my little taptap...

After slogging (ok, not exactly) for months, Tuptup n taptap took a well-deserved weekend getaway to A'Famosa Resort, Malacca! It was part of a company-organised trip and clearly not the smoothest of trips, no thanks to the atrocious organisers.

BUT, for the most part, Tuptup, taptap, honey n bee had loads of fun by ourselves. Here's the itinerary... a (totally forgettable) buffet lunch at some shabby "lakeview" restaurant, Animal Safari, (easily the best) BBQ buffet dinner, fantabulous Cowboy Town and Water World theme park the next morning in between 2 buffet meals. :)

Tho we only had an hour at the Animal Safari, ironically, fortune favoured the unfortunate n we caught a splendid elephant show. Timing was perfect. For some reason, Tuptup n taptap have a penchant for these gentle giants. They were brilliant! Cycling, football, basketball... really cute! Oh did i say we got to feed them? :D

BBQ buffet dinner was splend-tastic! The restaurant was beautiful to say the least so tuptup n taptap reached a little earlier to snap some pics!

Highlight of the Night: Cowboy Town! Think wild wild west-theme park with horses, malay cowboys, fire-breathing Red Indians, Chingay-style carnival display and a surprise fireworks display to cap it off!

Pictures won't do justice to the Cowboy Town so watch this space for a VIDEO UPDATE!

Next morning we awoke to buffet breakfast n water world! No pictures cos camera wouldn't have survived the water... but it was SOLID fun. :) Taptap n tuptup especially loved one ride where we sat with 5 other people in a donut-shaped tube down a 7-storey water slide. Another one was a huge slide (think Singapore Big Splash) certainly not for the faint-hearted. Taptap showed she had more balls than some guys who din dare try the ride. *plants big L on forehead*

Oki. So we survived the water theme park n headed back to our Resort hotel clubhouse for buffet lunch and it was time to head home!

All in all, a great trip to let our hair down for a bit, do some retail therapy. Bee was particularly upset we had to leave, but happy he could go home to his karaoke machine. Honey was just glad she bought her ma ti su (chestnut puff) and tao sa piah (bean paste biscuit)
