Taptap, my little taptap...

After slogging (ok, not exactly) for months, Tuptup n taptap took a well-deserved weekend getaway to A'Famosa Resort, Malacca! It was part of a company-organised trip and clearly not the smoothest of trips, no thanks to the atrocious organisers.

BUT, for the most part, Tuptup, taptap, honey n bee had loads of fun by ourselves. Here's the itinerary... a (totally forgettable) buffet lunch at some shabby "lakeview" restaurant, Animal Safari, (easily the best) BBQ buffet dinner, fantabulous Cowboy Town and Water World theme park the next morning in between 2 buffet meals. :)

Tho we only had an hour at the Animal Safari, ironically, fortune favoured the unfortunate n we caught a splendid elephant show. Timing was perfect. For some reason, Tuptup n taptap have a penchant for these gentle giants. They were brilliant! Cycling, football, basketball... really cute! Oh did i say we got to feed them? :D

BBQ buffet dinner was splend-tastic! The restaurant was beautiful to say the least so tuptup n taptap reached a little earlier to snap some pics!

Highlight of the Night: Cowboy Town! Think wild wild west-theme park with horses, malay cowboys, fire-breathing Red Indians, Chingay-style carnival display and a surprise fireworks display to cap it off!

Pictures won't do justice to the Cowboy Town so watch this space for a VIDEO UPDATE!

Next morning we awoke to buffet breakfast n water world! No pictures cos camera wouldn't have survived the water... but it was SOLID fun. :) Taptap n tuptup especially loved one ride where we sat with 5 other people in a donut-shaped tube down a 7-storey water slide. Another one was a huge slide (think Singapore Big Splash) certainly not for the faint-hearted. Taptap showed she had more balls than some guys who din dare try the ride. *plants big L on forehead*

Oki. So we survived the water theme park n headed back to our Resort hotel clubhouse for buffet lunch and it was time to head home!

All in all, a great trip to let our hair down for a bit, do some retail therapy. Bee was particularly upset we had to leave, but happy he could go home to his karaoke machine. Honey was just glad she bought her ma ti su (chestnut puff) and tao sa piah (bean paste biscuit)
